Spent the weekend with Savannah friends at the Biltmore Estate ("America's largest home") for John & Jessica's wedding. That Friday we closed on the house and jumped in the car to Asheville. Oops, I ran over a piece of wood on the road and pop.JPG)

In homeowner news, the floor men came today and now all of the baby blue carpet is up and here is what the floors look like. It all just looks so much better without the drapes!

Maggie, I'm am so excited that you have a new home (and a blog)! We are sure to be in Birmingham this fall, so send me your address one day soon. On our home front, we think we have finally found a house in Charlotte, cross your fingers. Oliver and I continue to fly back and forth while Geo lives in Charlotte and works most weeks in NYC (can you keep up?!!). I will finish up at the J-School in early October and head to Charlotte for good. Finally, we will be a one-city family (outside of Tuscaloosa). xoxo, Kimberly
